Stephen King

Stephen King, widely regarded as one of the most influential authors in the world, has shaped the genre of horror, supernatural fiction, and suspense for over five decades. Born on September 21, 1947, in Portland, Maine, King’s passion for writing emerged early in his life. He started his career as a high school English teacher, but his true calling was always storytelling. His breakthrough came with the publication of Carrie in 1974, a novel that cemented his place in the literary world.
